Human/Machine interdependency occupies my thoughts these days. It's a common plot within Popular Culture's media. Cyborgs were fictional characters in the past, but maybe now they're a metaphor of today's techno-dependent society, eh? A quasi-religion, filling the void of traditional religion in our popular culture? Data lust? I'm not certain, but it's food for thought.
